Thank you for your interest in the SAC Student Scholarships. Here are
details about our application process. If you have questions at any time,

There will be four scholarships handed out; two scholarships each awarded to
freshmen and upperclassmen. The first place winner for each level will receive
$1000 and the second place winner will receive $500. Applications will be
available on Monday, January 7, 2008.
1) Fill out and turn in the application by Friday, January 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
These can be submitted online or to the Information Desk at the Ohio Union, located between gates 22 and 24 of the Ohio Stadium. This form must be completed in full, as incomplete forms will not be considered.
2) The applications will be reviewed and scored by Student-Alumni Council members and alumni.
The applicants with the highest application scores will be contacted for an interview.
Interview times:
- Freshman: Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
- Upperclassmen: Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
Interviews will be held at the Longaberger Alumni House.
If the applicant needs a ride to the interview, he or she must indicate this when scheduling an interview time. The interviews will last approximately 20 minutes.
3) The winners must also attend the Student-Alumni Council Banquet which will be held on May 10, 2008 at the Blackwell Inn. Time is to be announced
It is preferred that you fill out your application online by Friday,
January 25, 2008 by 5 p.m. However, if you are submitting a hard copy,
please turn in the application by Friday, January 25, 2008, by 5 p.m. to the
Information Desk at the Ohio Union, in a manila envelope addressed to the
Student-Alumni Council, c/o Jordan Davis.
If selected for an interview, you will be contacted via email with the
information necessary on how to schedule a time for an interview.
