SAC WELCOMES CLASS OF 2008

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State University Student-Alumni Council (SAC) proudly welcomes the new SAC class of 2008 who were ballooned throughout the day on January 3. Each of the 41 new undergraduate members was selected after an application and interview process focusing on their service to the university, leadership ability and Buckeye spirit and pride. Their membership will be made official at the annual induction ceremony held on Feb. 21.

In addition to the 41 undergraduates, two Ohio State faculty members will be inducted as Honorary Student-Alumni Council members. These inductees were nominated and selected by current SAC members last spring for their service and dedication to the university and the Student-Alumni Council.

The Student-Alumni Council is a student advancement organization dedicated to serving Ohio State students past, present, and future through the support and coordination of university and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. events.  A member of the Association for Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) and its parent organization, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), SAC strives to advance The Ohio State University through programs which enhance the student experience, promote student-alumni interaction and establish a spirit of loyalty to the university.
