SACERS RECEIVE OUTSTANDING SENIOR AWARDS

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State University Student-Alumni Council (SAC) congratulates twelve of its members on receiving the distinguished “Outstanding Senior" and "Outstanding First Year Student" awards, sponsored by Coca-Cola and The Ohio State University. These individuals will be honored at the 2007 Leadership Awards to be held May 1 at 3:00 p.m. in the FawcettCenter.
The 46th Annual Leadership Awards recognize exceptional individuals and organizations for their contribution to Ohio State in their respective field. SAC commends these individuals on their service and commitment to bettering the Ohio State community, as well as themselves.

Advice for SACers: Never pass up an opportunity to meet new people or learn something new . . . you never know how useful that opportunity may be in the future. And say hello and smile wherever you go. You might very well be brightening someone's day.

Advice for SACers: SAC offers a home and a tremendous group of people unique to any other organization on campus. Make the most of your time in SAC and immurse yourself in all of the opportunities you will be given. These are definitely the best and most dynamic four (or five :) ) years of your life. You have the control to make your SAC and OSU experience the most memorable time in your life!

Favorite OSU Memories: Seeing how many Ohio State fans, like me, went out to Arizona in 2003 to watch the Buckeyes win the national championship. I've never felt Buckeye pride like that day. Linking Day for Sphinx. The day I got linked wasn't nearly as meaningful until the next year when my class linked the next class of Sphinx. The sun bursting through the clouds just as we started singing Carmen Ohio while we were on the football field during the Homecoming game
Favorite OSU Building/Location: Ohio Stadium and Orton Hall
Advice for SACers: You get out of it what you put into it, and that's true for every class you ever take, every organization you ever join, every project you ever plan. You'll never get the results you want unless you put in the effort to earn them.

The Student-Alumni Council is a student advancement organization dedicated to serving Ohio State students past, present, and future through the support and coordination of university and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. events.
