COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State University Student-Alumni Council (SAC) proudly welcomed the SAC class of 2007 into their organization on Thursday, Mar. 1 at Longaberger Alumni House. Each of the 43 undergraduate new members was selected after an application and interview process focusing on their service to the University, leadership ability and Buckeye spirit and pride. Their membership was made official with the annual induction ceremony held on Mar. 1.

In addition to the 43 undergraduates, three OhioState faculty members were inducted as Honorary Student-Alumni Council members. These inductees were nominated and selected by current SAC members last spring for their service and dedication to the University and the Student-Alumni Council.

The Student-Alumni Council is a student advancement organization dedicated to serving Ohio State students past, present, and future through the support and coordination of university and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. events.  A member of the Association for Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) and its parent organization, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), SAC strives to advance The Ohio State University through programs which enhance the student experience, promote student-alumni interaction and establish a spirit of loyalty to the university.
