SAC ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD AND DIRECTORS

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State University Student-Alumni Council (SAC) would like to announce the recently elected executive board for the 2008-2009 academic school year. After an election process, the members of the organization have elected the following individuals to serve as leaders of the prestigious organization:
Barbara Barash, President
Maryann Augustine, Vice President of Membership
Kelly Mirgon, Vice President of Communication
Brian Carlberg, Vice President of Finance
Katie Zatroch, Vice President of Outreach and Engagement
Each student leader will work with elected Directors and appointed Program Coordinators to ensure the success of events led by the Student-Alumni Council. Throughout the coming school year, the leadership will lead members in serving students of the past, present and the future. The directors elected to serve during the 2008-2009 school year are:
Director of Membership: Laurel Horn
Director of Membership Selections: Darci Mossberger
Director of Membership Advancement: Sachin Sharma
Director of Student Outreach: Brent Ribble
Director of Alumni Outreach: Stephanie Stelmaschuk
Director of University Events: Brittany O’Neill
Director of Fundraising: Anita Robison
Director of Technology: Casey Dekker
Director of Communications: Matt Starr
Director of Diversity Initiatives: Rob Bonacci
The Student-Alumni Council is a student advancement organization dedicated to serving Ohio State students past, present, and future through the support and coordination of university and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. events. A member of the Association for Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) and its parent organization, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), SAC strives to advance The Ohio State University through programs which enhance the student experience, promote student-alumni interaction and establish a spirit of loyalty to the university.
